  If this is the first time in Bondi beach, I highly suggest you to do the Coogee beach to Bondi beach hiking trail. It only takes around 2 hrs, but the view from the cliff and the first look of Bondi from the trail is just impressive. Take the bus to Coogee beach and the hiking trail along the coast starts right there. You can see a lot of local birds and impressive landscape of the ocean, and also there was a cemetery. You can stop for a coffee at any of the beaches along the way as well. My advice is to do this trail with good shoes (I used sandals and my legs were in pain the next day).

  To my mind, this is one of the best beaches in the world. The sand is clean and the views are beautiful. The safeguards are experienced and very helpful and I always feel safe there even in a bad weather.

  Awesome beach! We swim here and it was great! We left everything on the beach and nobody rob us, it was very safe and nice. Good waves and the colour of the water and sand are great! I love it! :)

  Good clean beach, gets little crowded on weekend on a sunny day! Good food options nearby!

  Must visit whenever you are in Sydney. Long stretch beach, white sand, great waves. Visited in June so the water is obviously cold. Many locals were on and about with surfing and swimming. Lifeguards were on duty. The iconic lifeguard tower was under renovation when I went there.
